Kiwi’s big adventure

The Kiwi is a nocturnal creature which means it only comes out at night. It is a very special bird because it can forage for food. It is a very cunning creature that does many special things it can play cricket, watch rugby and do many other great things but it is a scared and timid creature who hid from human kind.

Kiwi was a great explorer nimble on its feet rummaging through the undergrowth looking for new places to nest. Kiwi lived in the undergrowth south of the forest woodland.
How you may ask does a kiwi play cricket or rugby well in a childlike fashion kiwi hid in the bushes behind the cricket pitch and when the ball was hit for six kiwi came out and caught the ball.

When people saw the kiwi they were amazed by its dexterity and everyone came and applauded; the kiwi was cunning and dexterous he was a representation of the true spirit of New Zealand the ability to spin a yarn.

The train station:  The station was empty but for the figure of a man sitting quietly waiting for the train to come into the station. Amtrak 101 driven by Penelope drake from Arkansas to Oklahoma was coming through a dust bowl while the man on the platform sat quietly guitar in hand, preparing to go cross country. The train service was very sporadic in a rural backwater and the man looking for it was a right scruff who had a slightly threatening ora about him.

The train pulled into the platform a colossus of iron and steel engineering and groups of people filled the station. There were youngsters with fiddles, middle aged businessmen with newspapers under their arms. The station throbbed with activity as the various kiosks did a raging business selling confectionary and magazines. It was rare for the station to be this busy and the station master was busy instructing the valets and the bus boys about handling baggage in time to meet the rush for carriages outside the station.

Travellers passed through this ramshackle station in the middle of the Arkansas plaines. There were tracks running into town. This place was not much a faceless Midwestern town where the population were simple folk who worked the land in order to make a living. Across town were staging posts for the Midwest and in the saloon about one hundred yards from the station it stood as an outpost against crime protected by a county sheriff from the bandits and vega ones of the back country.

In the station stood a clock under which people would meet. It was similar to bigger stations yet it was similar to smaller stations in that it had alcoves and a waiting area . Farmers would come to the station to trade their goods while buskers would come and play to the travelling audience . Many people would arrive at the station with stories to tell as they begin their journeys to the open west in search of a new life. The station is also popular with traveling salesmen who crisscross the country selling their wares. An oaky smell from the wood pe roused through the station. A central crossing point for carriages during the civil war, now at the beginning of the twentieth century the station lived a quieter existence.

It had a staff of two station workers, two valets and three bus boys. A shopkeeper would travel in to man the convenience kiosk when trains were due. All in all the station was a small family home to its workers who took care of it, while chewing tobacco and playing dice during down time. Amtrak ran three express trains a week and five local services. This averaged as quite sometime between trains so plenty of time existed for bus boys to play practical jokes on the valets. Meanwhile the other station workers would chat politics and baseball with the shopkeeper.

This was a description of a Midwestern Station from the start of the twentieth century.

Storyboard 2;

It was a sandstorm that blew across the open plains of the desert. The nomadic men were herding camels through the sand looking for a place to rest and set up their tents for the night. Here they sat smoking shies a pipes and playing dice of an evening passing time as their journey was plotted along the astronomical patterns in the sky. The men sat around the fire listening to a preacher with a stick marked fire hearth warming their nomadic clothes.

The skies were bright at night and brought a gleam down around the desert to bring warmth to the people. They spied a mineral mine capable of bringing great wealth to the colony. Indeed fundamentally although not literally the desert was a vast expanse which had oil and could bring wealth to the people. In reality however the mood among the nomads was an uneasy calm because they felt a long pilgrimage across the desert would allow time to Pacify thoughts of growing hunger with the belief in the relieving powers of a water mirage.

Many factors went into the tribes growing desire for expansion, one being the very true and logical assumption that without a supply of water they could die of thirst. Travelling the great expanse of the desert the nomads were akin to modern day explorers facing daily dangers of heat exhaustion similar to any equivalent danger of death faced by modern day mountaineers.

They knew they had the power to read astrological patterns in the sky and reflect back ancestor all roots via stars and smoke signs. The nomads feared and respected the sun in equal measure as bringer of drought and prosperity in equal measure. They respected the sun gods of ancient times a pagan belief structure that although has no validity in the modern Christian church has great philosophical and epistemological debating strength.

In truth the tribe were tired and divided. Unable to reach consensus on what to do next and desperate to find a use for mineral resources which if they could find a use for them could bring prosperity to the tribe for a generation to come. And so the elders of the tribe decided on the middle ground, to set up a permanent base 5km from the mineral mine and insure continued stability.

A kind man sat on the bench looking sky ward under his patio lived an array of pretty plants and animals under his deck, ice formed at the bay edge and whales swam freely in the ocean... Many people came to watch as the whale swam freely in its homeland and the man was content to sit on the ocean and survey the scene.

He thought as he looked out how peaceful the visage was until along came some boats to spray a gentle wash on the ocean. The man looked out and thought how fortunate he was to be in such a peaceful place, free from the stresses of modern life like TVs and iPads. Thinking about it the man concluded the tranquillity caused by lack of mod cons meant life could actually be fairly enjoyable.

Why there was fishing and swimming and much merriment to be had exploring the outdoors these people knew the cost of a healthy life often meant vigorous exercise and a healthy diet of fish and rice meant he could swing a bat to the notion of peaceful coexistence with nature allowing for swift interaction with the natural environment.

Often the man encountered travellers looking for room and board and a place to rest on their through travels from one place to the next, these men were wise and brave, yet they knew the difficulties of getting things done and in a rugged environment they understood the power of nature to cleanse all the land of difficulties.

The man did not charge his visitors as he knew they were weary and looking for a place to rest. He knew there charge was their company and their price told in tales of adventures in distant far off lands in the Pacific and Oceans beyond, the travellers came on horseback and donkey believing they were looking for new lands yet often all they wound up with was sand and a saw bottom. Stirred on by members of their families the adventures never stopped and often new arrivals came to stir the mix but more often than not they were made to feel welcome though sometimes they would fight like drunk old men.

Many people would pass through the old man’s cabin and like a wise counsel he knew the power of a good imagination in his world as In mine there was no fighting, there was respect to elders and it's way business was done by communication and problems solved by diplomacy.

Great men come and go but this man’s story was not a great one it was one of extreme ordinariness educated in a small town he struggled with education and had few friends, yet as he grew so did his confidence and belief in his ability to reason his way through difficult situations. For this man the cabin was his hideaway where he worked and rested and understood the power of belief. By share willpower alone people understood the dignity and violence that soared through his body and mind. Live dangerously they told him, no he said, I am a peaceful man and I do not wish to fight

Yet interpret ably speaking the man’s quiet existence was being disturbed by a cacophony of confused voices some from above and some from below, where were they taking him, home he believed, and yet no, new adventures awaited...

Battle for Galiphram age of warfare

With Galiphram garrisoned by Zaramipham King Zog’s second daughter Claraphram, sister in law to Zorophos  wife of zahali a series of inter family planetry alliences were all that separated galiphram from complete inihalation, Clarapham was sent from galiphram to discover new planets which Galiphrams people could inhabit for a long time. Water was a precious resource and a new planet Merosphia in the intergalactic stream of laraphine offered quite a lot of green space for the tribe to inhabit.

Clarapham led a garrison of many men thousands of miles from home. Indeed two key components of marosophia were water and diamonds and the best thing about marosophia was the open spaces where pixies and goblins inhabited the earth protecting the people. The great thing about marosophia was it had two suns which protected the plan from harm.

Clarapharm led her people marvellously despite never understanding the depth of her task she bought peace to her people and this meant a great sense of responsibility and she led her people with great pride and united the galaxy in peace. In a world controlled by many gods and doctrines where sometimes truth is stranger than fiction there is a place deep in our minds to train for the achievement of magnificence. The people were protected by the jahoad winged horse which roamed the plaines protected the people from harm and didn’t let the flock roam from harm and protected her people from harm.

Yet security problems remained an issue as the galaxy of zaramapham remained tense. King Zog and Chancellor Frab attended a peace conference where Gorophram, Galiphram, Marosophia, Landigene and the forested planet of ranto. Indeed the planet of zanogphia with its warlords of the sand dunes and desert.

The atmosphere at the peace conference was intense but productive Zog and Frab represented Galiphram’ Kolanav and babafka represented Zanogphia , Tiarango and Lipetia represented Marosophia. Whielst Ropas and Kiondo represented gorophram. The negotiations at the conference were intense but productive Zog and Frab represented Galiphram Kolanov and Lipetia represented Marosophia. Whielst ropas and Kiondo Represented Galiphram Kolanov and babafka represented Marosophia whielst Ropas and Kiondo represented Gorophram great efforts went into preserving a fragile peace,

Much negotiations took place, and much negotiations took place Zanogphia and Galiphram allied against ranto gorophram and marosophia stood independent. The key argument at the peace conference revolved around understanding the issues of troop disarmament and distribution of gold and copper.

Much negotiations raged and zanogphia and galiphram threatened to send a drone army to the sand dunes of Zanogphia threatened a trade blockade in order to clear IOD’s and lead a charge against imperial forces. The outcome of the conference brought peace to the galaxy and the signing of the treaty of mitanser which brought powerful alliance to previous warring parties aerial forces were put at ease.

Clarapham married babafka in a lavish ceremony on Zanogphia which was attended by zog and Frab and Babafka and Kolanov as well as Ropas and Kiondo . The marriage ceremony lasted 90 days with Elephants, Jahood winged horses in formation with feasts for all the guests Gatteau’s, Pig Pie and lemon mirangue strawberries rotated on the hob and pixies and fairies mixed hapilly with goblins and dwarfs. Clarapham and babafka honeymooned at the bath house of Gorophram and bore an air to the throne.

Debate revolved around resources and this meant droids were sent to garrison marisophia was a peaceful land yet interplanetary politics meant Zanogphia and galophram were annexing Merosophia and this forced clarapham to call on her sister Zorophos to return from galaphram bringing with her supplies under the alliance of the galactic fleet and under protection of diplomatic atache Colethius directly appointed by king Zog to appease rival frab and avoid planetary civil war.

Among the supplies were secret armements aimed at dislodging the interplanetary rivals of Zanogphia and Galophram bringing with her supplies under the alliance of the galactic fleet and for the droid army and warlords who were ruthless fighters from a baron sand dunes and deserts of Zanogphia.

Despite being married to babafka a  Zenogphian prince this did little to smooth relations as babafka had a love rival for claraphams affections in galiphrams military general Zenon Bowry , a leader and economics expert. This made the politics and love very complicated at times of war as Babafka used Kolanov to feedback state secrets to Zanogphia through princess tanagfa of goropham to punish clarapham.

So in the toxic atmosphere of love and war nothing was clear in an interplanetary alliance that was messed up at its core yet ultimately new good would win out.

The Tower

Pymithius was under pressure. The roman garrison he led had to finish building the watch tower in order to successfully secure the fort. He had been commander in chief was to protect his troops from harm. Whilst at the same time advancing Roman territorial gains to the advantage of the Roman Empire. The plan was to advance to the west where barbarians ruled large swathes of no man’s land to the east of Gaul.

Legions were set up to protect their men and this meant the key aim of the expedition was to protect the tower and make it a clear place to protect the legions from attack. Pymethius was a strong leader who was looking to advance the empire to the east below Gaul to Southern Spain. Believing as he did in the glory of Rome, years to build seconds to destroy was Pymithius’s calling he knew he had a destiny as a fighter but also knew Christians were the enemy of Rome and to fight for the glory of the empire would be a tough ask. Indeed Pymithius legion led at least ten thousand troops into battle believing as he did in the glory of the Roman Empire.

Interestingly Pymethius set about building his imperial fort using wattle and Daub and brick allowing for a glorious battle to advance the Roman Empire. To the east lay Maserpatania a part of the world where tribes were vicious but fair. This empire was on the floor slowly closing down. Under threat from the Barbarians in the west. A well defended fort tower protected the Roman Empire as a final protection from attack to the east.

Eventually the bombardment came from the west and the legion fell as the empire started to crumble. The tower was deep and had large foundations, they were solid and well-constructed and the legion of 10,000 men were defeated with honour bravery and sacrifice the motto of IXV legion was never truer then when the attack struck. The attack came at dawn from the west and was extremely quick the barbarians had flame throwers and Romans threw stones.

Much fighting took place and the barbarians pushed the romans to the brink. Pymithius fought bravely but was killed defending his men. He was brave and he lay down his life in defence of his legion. Indeed the Gauls were a brutish creed who revelled in war but knew that defeating the Romans was a priority for their brutality often decimated and destroyed enemies. When the legion was defeated the Gauls took the fort and the tower was destroyed.

Instalment Two: The Base on Galiphram – Battle Behind the Locked Gate!
